Johanna Rothe is a writer, activist and parent at home in Berlin, originally from Austria. She involves herself in the Free Palestine movement, psychiatric survivor organizing and Mad Studies. Maru Sawwān is a Berlin-based culture studies theorist as well as a video and performance artist with a research focus on Palestine. They embrace a perspective situated at the intersection of queer, decolonial, and Black feminist theories with the main agenda to break epistemic binaries. Their current primary focal point is to disseminate the deficient knowledge on Palestine in Germany while adopting different ways of knowing.
