In this new journey, filmmakers Ruffin and Perret take us across France to meet caregivers at the front line of the Covid-19 crisis. These people, mostly women, give their lives, their time and often their health to help and care for the elderly, disabled and those shut out by society. These caregivers are left high and dry by the French state: no minimum wage, no limit on working hours, no recognition – forcing them to stand up for their basic rights.
French with English subtitles
The film will be followed by a discussion in English with the film’s producer and French MP Danièle Obono.
