Gleisdreieck's evolution from the maze of train tracks running between three stations taking passengers to the far corners of Europe, to a post war wasteland taken over by over 400 separate species of plants and trees, to the landscaped wonder park opened in 2015. Nothing about Gleisdreieck park would be as it is if not for the history of the city.
The park is the most visited in Berlin and used by three city districts hungry for it's diverse uses and connected cycle paths. This tour will leave you hungry to create utopic leisure space in your own city districts.
Start point: Potsdamer Platz S Bahn entrance (near the entrance to the Ritz Carlton hotel)
The tour is led by Izzy Choksey and is will be held on a donations basis. All donations will go to charities helping people in Gaza.
