About Bernardo Jurema

Bernardo Jurema is a political scientist from Recife, Brazil, currently based in Berlin. He researches US foreign policy, critical security studies and the intersection of geopolitics and ecopolitics. He has worked at international organizations and think tanks in Europe and Latin America. He graduated in Social Sciences at the Federal University of Pernambuco, and holds an MSc in comparative politics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a PhD degree in political science from the FU Berlin
