The Left Berlin and Klima4Palästina are happy to invite you to the PASTASCIUTTA ANTIFASCISTA NEUKOLLN on Sunday July 27th in AGIT, Nansenstrasse 2 from 4pm – 9pm. Join us for an afternoon of music, poetry, speeches and Italian food to reinforce the global fight against fascism!
On July 25, 1943, the Italian dictator Mussolini lost the support of the Italian fascists and was imprisoned, marking the beginning of the end of the fascist dictatorship. The freedom fighter family Cervi organized a big celebration around the neighborhood, cooking pasta for the town: the struggle to freedom was still long, but that night was a moment of shared joy.
Today, witnessing the rise of global far right and militarization ready to target human rights activists and oppressed populations, we want to keep this event alive by gathering around food and music and sharing stories and roots uniting all our fights.
All proceedings will be donated to mutual aid projects in Gaza.
